When in reality, they would really rather kick their @ss out back.

I think the reason why people act fake towards each other, especially "friends" is because of status quo. They want to feel like they're on top and they're using that person to feel accepted in the group and be popular. They act like they're friends in your face, but behind your back, they talk a lot of bull about you. I still don't understand why people are like that, but unfortunately, that's a part of life.

alot of people act fake towards each other because they don't wanna seem mean. honestly i can say that i've acted fake towards someone only because they were doing it to me. but sooner or later i'll realize it and just be the nice person that i am.

People have a natural want/need to feel wanted and to feel as if tehy belong. SO they often creat alter egos or "masks" of who they really are in order to be liked.
I've been guilty of this because I was uncomfortable with myself.
It's very unfalttering and can actually cause people to be even more isolated when others realize it's just a "mask"

because people are too afraid of not fitting in because frieds and sometimes family make it feel that way, so you tell white lies or exagerate things to make your self sound more popular, its a whole mess the whole world is doing but the sooner people figure out that they are loosing sight of who they are in the process of doing that the better off they will be when they finaly stop.

Cause it is so much easier to lie to people and never show how you really feel. You don't get hurt as easily that way. Most people will never open up to if you don't give them a reason to trust you.

I think everyone displays a certain and different personality with different people they know or come across in there life....I know that certain people bring out different sides of me that I might not show to everyone.

Because they want ppl to like them, they want to act in a certain way that is "accepted" by society.

In my opinion people at that way because they want people to like them - they don't believe that the real them is likable and have to look important.
