well, did u smoke it before she married u? Did u have those friends before she married u? If you answer yes 2 both then you need to talk 2 her. Tell her what you want her to quit (shopping, gossiping etc..) Now if you came upon those friends after you were married that's a little different, but who is going to be there in the long run? the wife or the pot smoking friends? Try 2 things:
1. ask your wife exactly what about the "friends" she doesn't like? Is it the fact that they take up time that she could have with you?
Are they at your place all the time or you at one of theirs?
2. If its that the friends hang out at your house to much tell them that you quit the next time they come over, I bet they don't come by as often.

The question is this: are you a pothead or a pot smoker? Pot smokers are responsible, just like drinkers are responsible. Potheads, like alcoholics, allow a substance to control their lives. If you're a pothead, your wife is right. If you're a pot smoker, then your wife may either be sensitive to the stigma surrounding pot or is jealous that there's a part of your life that she can't share with you and that you spend so much time apart from her with your friends. Be very honest with yourself about what the nature of your habit is, and base your decision on that.

When you married your wife, didn't you say the vows to her ( and really mean it). If you love her GIVE UP THE POT!

Stop getting high but keep your friends as long as they are noy negative.
If you and your wife don't work out you'll have your boys there to fall back on.
But don't quit your wife to get high.

Ask her to make a choice. It is not as bad as heroin. In some states you get a ticket for a dooby. What is the big deal with her? Just remember, don't smoke and drive.

If you value your relationship, and you love your wife, then you would give it up. The most dangerous thing to your relationship is yourself.
She shouldn't force you to give up your friends, but if they bring something detrimental to your relationship, then you have to step back and evaluate the situation.
The most important thing is talking about it.
Good luck.

well, talk to her, tell her that its a way of.... reveal ur real self, see the way u reallly r, and it actually does. its also medicinal sometimes...
but most people dont like it cuz of the stuff they hear about that... and idk, those things might be true, so it might be kinda dangerous once in a while, also a waste of money... if u dotn have a plant, but i think shes just mostly carign about u... but u just cant stop all of the sudden, i say u stop lil by lil, like i did, insdead of thinking about that stuff, think of other stuff, and put ur mind into that, wat i did was graffiti, so that helped me quit, and just try lil by lil, like if u smoke like 3 blunt daily, start just doing 2... and after a while, like in a few weeeks, smoke just one... then after ur used to just smoking one, one every other day dont smoke... until u feel that u dont need too
