I'd say to go and build a better, more just world. A world not as bound up in ancient hatreds as this one is.

By stepping away from all the BS of this planet people could begin anew, create a world with liberty and justice for ALL from the word go. Not the glacially slow progress of maybe we'll acknowledge your humanity, right to dignity, right to a voice in how you are governed, if we feel like it.

If Europeans had stayed in Europe until they 'fixed' all it's problems they'd likely still be there, bogged down with medieval forms of government, wars of religion, inquisitions, with misery and brevity of life for all but a privileged few.

The idea of taking all the people off Earth and turning the place into a giant nature preserve is also sort of appealing, totally impractical, but appealing.

How do you know your god gave us this planet? Obviously you don't know the answer, but what if your god made a prototype of this planet to live in another one as Mars, just thinking that from mistakes you learn not to err in the future?

What about if you don't even know what you asked?
What about if your god is a myth and you'll cry out loud when you discover it?
Sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you.

Setting Mars up for human settlement will take so long, by the time we're finished, we'll have figured out how to keep Earth healthy.

well, God gave us Mars too, right? so we gotta go there and take care of it as well. Look what a dumb it became while we were busy here on Earth.

We need to colonize Mars so that the environment, that we destroyed, won't destroy the human race. As far as rights go... What people were murdered so that you can live where you are?

The same right you have to ask a philosophical question in a science related category.

But, if we do move to Mars, wouldn't it be in God's "plan"?
