what do you think about cousins marrying cousins?

So don't you know that in one way or another we are all kin? And did you also know that there were alot of famous people,that married their cousin? Even people of the Bible married their cousin

Well i personally don't see anything wrong with it,you gotta follow you heart where ever it takes you!!!!!I have feelings for my first cousin and we have fooled around but i don't know if i would go so far as wanting to marry him!!!!But one can not control who he or she falls in love with!!!

It's not prohibited in Scripture (Leviticus 19 says nothing about cousins).
It is prohibited in many states (though not all).
To each his own, but they'd better hide the fact that they're cousins if they want society to accept them.

I would say that first or second cousins are a definite no. When you start getting into the 3rd cousins and 4th cousin thrice removed, then it is okay because you might not know you are related and the gene pool is pretty different when you get into that realm.

It is not something I endorse but it is done. I know of families that do it to keep the wealth on the family.

in our societys eyes that is incest!!! and at the same time 100 years ago being gay was wrong. and not excepthed at allll!!!! ......... so I guess to answer the question I should ask another, who really decides whats rite? live and let live in my opinion.

my step-dad's family is from costa rica and his mother married her cousin. EW!!
My step-dad is not his mother's cousin's son, he was a product of rape, prior to their marriage.
All of his sisters and brother are screwwy though.
