It depends on what kind of gum it is. That gum that comes with baseball cards might outlive everybody.

It depends. Buried in a landfill, probably. It's a myth that it stays in your stomach, though. When you swallow gum you poop it out the next day with everything else you didn't digest. Day before a big date swallow some and you'll have minty-fresh poo.

gum loses color if you keep chewing on it...and if you keep chewing on it mold starts to grow...
