Go check out our Sun....

all the applications had been said only I´d loke to add than the reaction of burning H2 is very clean for only produces water the problem wth it i that hydrogen pure is not found in nature so it has to be produced trhough other ways and also the reaction with oxygen is very powerful so it has to be used where a lot of power is needed and heat can be dispersed very quickly like in space shuttles. every day activities require a very careful control of the burnign of hydrogen cause it has like a hundred more octanes than gasoline tha technology that actually make it work is very expensive yet and so far hybrids have better perfomance and control

About "Check out the sun"...
I'm not saying it's wrong. It's completely correct.
The Sun is made of Hydrogen and Helium. The proccess of making energy made on the Sun is hydrogen fusion. No not fission. The opposite of fission, fusion. Two hydrogen atoms charge at each other and they make helium. This kind of energy the size of a pin head can make A LOT of energy. But this isn't in use yet. To make this kind of energy, you need REALLY high pressure.

(P.S Sorry for blabbing so much, and I know this info isn't so relevant, and it doesn't answer your question.)
