i had a dream a couple of days ago that my exboyfriend's parents (both died in a car crash), were with us in an apartment that we have rented so we can meet.
My mother and i were there and we were all watching tv. then the parents and my ex went to sleep on the couches.. there was an open bath in the middle of the bedroom and me and my mom took showers..then i wrapped myself with a towel and i was walking out of the room, his father (who's deceased) stopped me and told me that there is no need for these visits anymore, and that we (his son and i) should get married..i told him that i need to finish college first..then he told me with a serious tone, you should know what you want first! you wanna marry my son, or pursue your education.......i was thinking to myself that all this will be sorted out when my ex wakes up and we discuss it....but never really told his father that....what does that mean?
by the way..the father's legs were both amputated..though he wasn't when he was alive.

It sounds to me like you broke off the relationship. You feel guilty about the breakup - perhaps the way you did it (the shower) - and you still care about your boyfriend (the presense of his parents means you have good feelings in your heart toward him) and think you have a future together. Your boyfriend must be a decent guy (you feel comfortable while he sleeps for not only you, BUT YOUR MOTHER, to take a shower) You see clearly that you could have an easy life with this guy (the parent telling you this). Though the breakup was messy, you have peace with your decision, and still feel committed to getting an education first. But you want to get back with your boyfriend (your ex is sleeping "near" you), and you want him to understand the dilemma you feel so you can agree and work together on it (when he "wakes up" you will discuss it).
You see that breaking up with a guy knocks him down a peg or two (father's amputated legs), so you worry that if you get back together with your boyfriend, you certainly must get it right this time and not break up with him again - that would be cruel, like cutting both his legs off.
Finally, you see that life does not offer endless possibilities: some great opportunities arrive, and if they are allowed to pass, are never replaced by new ones (the parents who died in a car crash). Life is short - is this a/the great thing that I have overlooked?

Dreams are sometimes given by the Lord to show where you need improvement in life. The interpretation of such dreams is true, but only if the interpreter has guidance from the Lord. Other dream interpreters that have a lot of experience can come close, but if there is direct guidance from the Lord concerning those dreams that are consistant with a dream that is given BY him, then the interpretation will hit a soft spot on the person's soul. The interpretation will be perfect. Many will not agree with me, and I never answer questions with regard to dreams that are simply the mind replaying the day. I will not say that ALL dreams have meaning. Some are, as you say, random thoughts occuring as you sleep. Should you have one with deeper meaning, do not be afraid to voice it. You will know the true interpretation when you see it.

I think that your struggling with unresolved issues with this relationship. I believe that the bath symbolizes (baptism or cleansing) that water is there to purify you from this. The fact that the father had no legs I think means that he could not actually go to you but you could go to him. I wonder if this dream was in color? Did you manipulate the dream at all. If you did change the dream while it was going on and dreamed in color you are a highly in tune person. It is rare for either of these to occur. I think you should look at the fact that your mom was with you and that demands were being put on you. Did your Mom wake up? You have some unresolved issues with this relationship. Perhaps you have guilt for wanting to continue school and his father being dead and with no legs was a symbol of your guilt. Look into dream interpretations by Jung.

please dont listen to what lalaland says, she does not know anything, im a psychologist and i do study dream interpretation and it is more than what happens in the day...
if you really want to know what dreams mean i suggest you to read accurate books, like Freud`s, Jung`s, and Sylvia Browne`s, there are a lot of author that give a really importance to dreams.
it is no use to intepret this dream anymore since you broke with the guy.

i think that you had a dream that meant you need to make a decision. u marry this guy soon, or finish an edeucation. that is all it was about.
