My husband tortures me with the theme song every time we go for a drive. I hate to tell him he really doesn't know the correct lyrics. With that said, who could forget Pops Racer - the foremost race car designer; Sparky - the Mach 5's fabulous mechanic; Mom Racer - the glue that held everything together; Trixie - Speed's ever-loving girlfriend (Could she fly a helicopter or what!); Spryle & Chim-Chim - the inseparable duo of mischief and (unintentional) mayhem; the Inspector - isn't it amazing his jurisdiction covered the whole world!; Rex Racer - the long lost brother who is secretly Racer X - Speed's guardian angel and superspy. Well, then there's Speed - the greatest driver on the racing circuit with the greatest car. Naw. Don't remember it at all.

they used to run the old ones on Speed Vision late Sat.nite. they remade the toon about 2 years ago, but sadly, no Sprytle or Chim-chim. "Candy! Ahhhh!"
