It is on the southwest side of the lower penninsula near Lake Michigan. Have been there often as it is about 35 miles from the town I live in. It is a lovely town and has many interesting tourist sights. In May there is a huge tulip festival which draws people from all over. There is a Dutch windmill which was imported from the Netherlands and also a wooden shoe factory. Come to western Michigan, we have many interesting cities and functions here not only in the summer but in the winter as well. And the little German town more centrally located in the lower penninsula is called Frankenmuth and celebrates Christmas all year long.

Holland, Michigan is in the western part of Michigan, on the shoreline, roughly halfway up. Since Michigan is shaped like a hand, hold up your right hand, palm upward. Holland is just slightly below where your pinkie finger runs into your palm.

I'm from Michigan. I like the little German town better, with the Christmas store. Sorry, I forgot what it's called... been a long time.
