Hey Americans can live here with no trouble .Canada this such a great country that you won`t want to go back, the only thing we ask is please leave your GUNS at HOME.

I have found that Canada is a nice blend of European mentality and American convenience. In other words, Canadians seem to better embrace self and family more than their American counterparts who focus heavily on career and money.
Convenience is a big deal. You'll find retail and services are readily available in Canada, just like the US... this is not always the case in Europe where most places shut down at 6pm and you have to wait in long queues to do ridiculous things like banking and post office runs. (Hooray for the advent of the internet!)

Relaxing. The pace is a lot slower. Some Canadians resent Americans, but not many, especially if you retire there instead of taking a job away from a Canadian. Along the border, there is so much mixing nobody pays much attention.

Just like living in the States with funny accents and lots of snow. I loved it and would go back in a heartbeat if I found a job there.
