My 16 year old crashed the 94 honda del sol that I bought him six months ago. The hood is damaged, the radiator is bent, but the doors, top, windshield looks fine. It still runs but is not leaking fluid. The body shop said it would take $5000.00 to get it fixed. I only paid 2500.00 for the car. How can I sell it for the most money? Where should I advertise?

Tell your kid to get a job and save up, and eventually pay for the repairs. You already bought it for him, so he has to take care of it. It's called responsibility. At 16 he shouldn't even HAVE a car of his own unless he bought it HIMSELF with money he earned; however you have bought him one, so do the next best thing.

It's HIS car, he had the accident, it's a good lesson in economics. He could try buying a new hood, replace the damaged radiator, and learn body mechanics by repairing it himself. The car doesn't have to be PERFECT to be useable.

i would part it out if you can and sell it piece by piece. whatever is not salvageable i would take to a local wrecker. You likely wont get much for a 'wrecked' car especially with a salvage title.

Junk it for scrap metal...some of the parts will be valuable because it is model that is no longer sold.
