I still get a little bit of acne every once in a while...so I'm an expert on this. The only make up I have ever been able to use that does not cause me to break out is Clean Makeup by Cover Girl. It's mild and you can also get it in an oil control. Best of all, it runs about $3 a bottle.

And if your face is really, really breaking out, find the best anti-acne cream you can afford, if you can't go to the dermatologist, but use it sparingly because that stuff can really dry out your skin.

I've also found using a really mild soap, like Ivory, can help keep the breakouts from getting any worse.

Whatever you use, wash your face every night before you go to bed.

Try to wear a minimum amount of makeup and be sure to clean your face every morning and night. The cheapest makeup that is good for preventing acne or breakout is neutrogena.

Just make sure the label says non-comedogenic (this means it won't clog pores) or oil-free. Neutrogena do something called Skin Clearing Oil Free Make Up. Almay also do one called Clear Complexion. And don't keep applying powder throughout the day, a little in the morning is fine, but after that, try oil-absorbing sheets. Clean and Clear do some fairly cheap.

If I were you, I would invest money into your foundation and blush but dont worry about anything else. Look for foundations in the 10-15 dollar range, and for blush anything above 8 dollars. They dont have as much filler and they usually go on smooth so you dont need a lot, and it covers without smothering your face.

L'Oreal's true match has amazing foundation that wont make your skin break out. I also use their blush, but it does have a little more filler than I want. When you look for blush, hold it up to the light and if you see it shine like it has tiny bits of glitter in it, move on.

the type of makeup you are looking for is the all natural, and it is much more costly. Just look and ask a saleperson when you buy. Some makeup have silicone and other stuff that stop your skin from breathing.
Also clean your face before applying makeup and a thorough cleaning when you remove it.
If you are a teenage still under development try to avoid makeup.

I would have to say the best kind of makeup is powder foundation it wont cause breakouts and it even covers up the ones you already have until they disappear too.

I get zits really easy, so to keep my skin clear I wash it with a acne fighting wash twice a day. But yet I still get zits, so to cover them up I use a acne fighting concealer on my zits only, then all over my faces I rub on a tinted oil free moisturizer.......it makes my skin look clear and natural while fighting breakouts.

I used to have little break outs from foundations and powders. And I hated the fact that I would have to use cover ups for the little imperfections. And the more I break out the more make up I'd have to put on. It was a vicious cycle.
I started to use Bare Minerals. I dont break out anymore.
It isnt gunky like foundation. Its real light and it feels like you don't have make up. The price is the same as department store bought make up. Try it... it might work for you.

I would try Mary Kay's Medium Coverage Foundation. It goes on light but covers very well and it will not give you acne. You can check out my website to take a look at your different options and shades. If you have any questions, you may contact me directly from there. Good luck!

While it took little less than two months for me to really see a difference, my acne, blackheads and whole lot of other skin problems I had such as eczema had completely cleared! It was totally amazing...
