I found my job online...this day in age it's really convenient and shows that you have computer skills which is always a plus.
Many companies now have online applications which is also really nice because you don't have to drive all over to pick them up...show messy hand writing (in my case) and then drop them all off.
Some advice: if applying online be sure to fill out all blanks and make sure spelling is correct (as you would on any application sheet.)
I'm personally not a fan of monster.com etc. too many bogus scams on there, I would check for government sites posted by whatever state you live in Ex. type in Florida Jobs if you live in Florida and look for a website run by the government.
Hope this helps and happy Job hunting!

If you want to stay in retail..you should be able to find a job..just go to the store of interest and pick up an application. If you want to change your field..try doing an internship..paid or unpaid..that's what i did.
Also, try craigslist.org or monster.com. Those websites have worked for me in the past.

to be honest with you the place that I had the most luck with was careerbuilder.com, I didn't have any luck with monster.com and I used them both when I moved from GA.

look for available jobs close to home, like McDonald's or clothing stores, or try www.monster.com; meanwhile maybe work on the spelling :)
