I am facing this starting lineup in week one in a points league:

QB D. McNabb
WR T. Owens
WR D. Jackson
WR L. Evans
RB L. Johnson
RB R. Brown
TE T. Heap
K J. Feely
DEF Seattle

This is my starting team:

QB D. Culpepper
WR C. Johnson
WR Sa. Moss
WR D. Driver
RB E. James
RB D. Davis
TE C. Cooley
K N. Kaeding
DEF Carolina

How can I win?

Culpepper is facing the Pittsburgh defense in Week One, while McNabb is against Houston. You might want to use your backup QB just in case.

Your WRs are not in a bad spot, but change Driver (since GB faces the Bears in Week 1). Your opponent has good receivers, but face a tougher Week 1 round.

Stick with your RB lineup. Having LJ against you is painful, so hope that Pittsburgh can contain Ronnie. James and Davis should have solid outings in their initial game.

Your TE is fine, as is your kicker and defense.

It is always important to look at who is playing where once you select a team. Also, make sure your backups do not share the same bye week.

By looking forward to week 2 when you're not playing an opponent with Johnson and Brown in the backfield.
No seriously dude, you've got a shot in this game. You've got a decent team, the only big edge he has on you is at RB. All the other positions are pretty equal. Looks to me like the key to this matchup will be the Miami game...how do the Dolphins score? Culpepper passes or Brown runs? I think the answer to that will determine it for you.

What do you mean how can you win. You have the Carolina defense. They have pass rush, great line backers, and one of the best cornerback duos ( Lucas and Camble.) You have a great offense against the Seattle defense. Seattle is weak against the pass and you have 3 great ones and you have 2 great running back. You should that the Seattle defense you do anything against the Steelers offense in the Superbowl. The only thing I am worry about is if D. Culpepper is going to be 100% and if he is going to play like he did last year.

QB's are a wash..Your WR are better..trust me I had Lee Evans last year and he didn't do very well at all. You may lose in the RB dept. if Johnson continues to run for 300 yds per game and 80 TD's or whatever crazy number he did last year. A little secret is to try and get the Def. opposite your opponents QB...double points he gets minus for picks and fumbles and you get plus points on the defense

well i def. wouldnt worry about T.O if thats what u are thinking, even though he is one of the best recievers out there, and even though he's on dallas now things are still floatin around from last year and dallas isn't going to give him the attention he wants, and I would be VERY thankfull that you have chad johnson if it's the one from cinci. he will pick up almost all your points this year, you have a pretty good line-up, i'd say a 90% chance ur gunna get the W on this one. and it's the first game so chillax

D. davis has a hamstring problem, might be good trade bait and D.driver slot needs to be upgraded, maybe a trade for C chambers from Miami will help with Culpepper at QB

pick culpepper then all the good w.r. that can catch long boms that culpepper throws. with that you will be unstopable. I don't know about the running backs but atlees you will have realy good defence. with out the long bom wide recevers culpepper will be like he is a five year old trying to thow the official sized football!!!

Looks like it might be a tough week for you. I agree to get a WR from Miami.
