Chechnya and Russia have been having problems ever since Chechnya became it's own independent country form the Soviet Union. Chechnya has it's own version of terrorists. Chechnya is to Russia as Al Quaida is the U.S.

Here are some facts to ponder:
* Chechnya is not now nor has ever been its "own" country. Nor will the Russian govt allow them independence, because we would share a border and there are oil lines that pass thru there which they steal from and it would only get worse if they had sovereignty. In addition, they would be even worse then the Ukrainians in terms of dealing with them politically.
*France was declared part of the "Holy Land" and it is now their mission to make it part of their ultimate home. One way of doing that is to populate it. Remember the riots??? France is ridden with muslim immigrants and they have already made political and social concessions to this growing group of people.
* Like the last time chechens tried to bomb a place/people, guess whats going to happen? Putin is sending in the ALphas and a bunch oh terrorists are going to get killed. Last fall he shut down a city just so that could grab the insurgents. They lied to them/ coerced them, etc. whatever it took to get them to come out. Then they were shot.
Show no mercy because you will be given no mercy.
Wether or not america is being preemptive and avoiding future attack OR if it instead added fuel to the fire. This is a matter of opinion. Reality, there ARE terrorist and they are violent and have been attacking nations that border them for many many years.

Unfortunately, terrorism is a viewpoint. One country's terrorist is another county's freedom fighter.History has consistently shown, unfortunately, from Ireland to Malaysia to Palestine that terrorists ultimately have to be negotiated with.
Although not in any way condoning terrorism and the power of the sword, other conflicts have proven that the sword beats plough shares every time.

Chechnya is yet another battle in Islam's war against the world.

The media does not tell you this because it would prove that Radical Islam is wanting a fight with the rest of the world.
