I have a 2000 hyundai accent. it has power windows. the passenger side fell off of the track. does anyone know how to or know where the best place to find a manual so that I can fix it myself. I've alwaze been good with cars, but never encountered this problem. never had to deal with windows. hopefully someone has some good answers. and please help me out with as much detail as possible. thank you.

Here's a good start...go to your local Auto Zone, Advance auto parts, Napa, etc. and they have repair manuals available for most makes....some places even have a "library" area where you can make copies of the things you need to know for a small charge.

You'll need to take off the inside door panel...there should be a couple of access holes...you might even be able to see the problem right off and be able to re-mount the window directly. It's generally the result of a missing or broken retaining clip (many are just cheap plastic) that holds the window into the track assembly...but that's just a guess as I don't know Hyundai's that well. If you get in over your head, take it to a dealer...it will cost a few bucks, but it's better than ruining the window/motor/track.

Hope this helped you out.
