isnt CTSCAN dangerous for the baby?

during 5month i have a ctscan of my abdomen isnt it harmful for my baby,i m now 8month pregnant

not as long as the dr knew you were pregnant, and as long as you don't have too many. They don't recomend anyone has more than 3/year, but I had 7 ctscans and 1 PET scan. in six months, and I am just fine, a dr wont put your baby in danger. At least if he is any good.

Your doctor should have gone over the risks with you prior to your scan. Your baby is probably fine, as long as you don't get more.
