Sorry. Your GSXR cannot be hot wired. There is a resistor inside of the ignition switch. It steps down the amperage of electricity to power the Fuel Injection Control Unit (computer that runs the bike). If the control unit doesn't get the "exact" amperage, the ignition system will not operate.

I wouldn't, because if you jerry-rig a switch, anyone can come up and do what you did, and then your bike's gone. Get in touch with the dealership, say you need an ignition repair, and put it in someone's truck and take it to em. That way, you'll get a professional install. Have em look at your tires and chain while you're there....

Take the VIN off the frame, go to the shop and they should be able to provide you with a workable key.
Unless you don't want to through channels for some reason?

remove the ignition, and and connect the two wires together, this will make your bike live, just hit the start button
