Your question all boils down to trying to come up with a precise definition for what makes you a lesbian, and I'm not sure what the point of that exercise is, especially when people aren't going to agree. It isn't like you need to register as a lesbian (or not), or get an official lesbian ID card (or not), so I'd think how you feel and act is much more important than what name you do or don't stick on it.

well, for centuries, as long as humans have exsisted, humans have looked at each other with interest. in some cultures, it is more honorable to persue a homosexual relationship. I;m not saying that admiring another woman is homosexual per se, but in this society today we are taught that same sex anything is wrong. this is not true. people tend to think they are homosexual when they notice another person of the same sex. in reality, it is either bisexuality or one finding a person whom they feel is ideal. therefore, wanting to be like them, or liking the way they look, one becomes curious as to how the ideal looks in entirety. i guess what im saying is that it is perfectly logical for a person to show interest in the same sex.
after all, birds do.

If you were appreciating a photograph or artwork, then I would have to agree with you. If you are gawking at other naked women in the showers and trying to peek down a womans shirt...then you may have some unresolved sexual identity issues.

Being a guy, I can relate to your arousal by looking at naked women. Women, (many of them, anyway), are simply beautiful. Though the sight of a naked guy makes me want to puke, I see no harm in you liking the vision of a lovely naked woman.

BTW: If there are any photos of naked women that you find particularly nice, share em' with the rest of us. ;-]

Oh yes of course! It does not mean you want to have sex with them, but it is nice to admire them. I know a couple of women like this, who are even open minded enough to enjoy trips to strip clubs - I ask them, do they want to be intimate with a woman? They tell me no - they are just admiring their beauty. What you feel is very healthy and exciting, isn't it?

Yes, that is possible.

For one thing, I have heard that sexual preferences tend not to be as rigid in women as in men.

For another thing, both pop culture and high culture tend to celebrate the beauty of women. Go to your local art museum and count how many paintings of naked women you see as opposed to how many paintings of naked men.
