seriously! why do so many people like it? all i hear about it at school is positive comments. i don't have cable or satellite tv, so i've never seen it. but i looked it up and read the summary and it looks like a load of crap that i would never watch. and i have no desire to see it whatsoever. so what is so great about it? just what is so appealing? or if you don't like it either, what do you dislike? i want opinions everyone!!! btw: i'm fourteen so it's not like i'm an adult trying to watch a kid's movie.

im 14 and i've seen high school musical 10 times...u should go get the dvd and watch it because it is soooo addicting and the songs are sooo catchy...i luv it...

i admire intense college Musical with the aid of fact of one, sure Zac is gorgeous! additionally, whether intense college isn't even the closet to the action picture as available, it helps you relax and function relaxing. little teenagers love the action picture too, so it truly is age appropriate. The actors and actresses did an wonderful pastime in getting those video clips at the same time, and that i'm so happy they made a calming action picture like this.

I hate it, I think it definitely can be compared with those 1970s musicals such as Grease, Annie, Bye Bye Birdie, etc. High School Musical sucks. Maybe people just like it because they think the cast looks hot and stuff, or it's a Disney Movie. Lots of people love Disney Channel stuff.

nothing. i know ppl obsess over it. i think it's weird. and why is every one obsessed w/ zac effron? he's not all that attractive. it makes no sense. good question. and plz don't watch it. you'll fall asleep. i am also 14 and was forced to watch it by a bunch of 5 year olds when bbysitting. it was the only way to shut them up.

My kids had me watch it, it was ok. Nothing I'd watch again if I had to. You're really not missing anything by not seeing it. Its just what happens to be popular today. Tomorrow it will be something else. I think if it came down to it between watching that or running a cheese grater over your eyes... I dont know.. that cheese grater doesn't sound so bad if you think about it.

I know!!!! I've NEVER even seen High School Musical but everyone makes a huge deal about it. I don't have cable or sattelite either.

Maybe you should watch it once just to see if it's as bad as you think. You might be surprised and actually like it or you might hate it.
I haven't seen it so I don't know if it's good or not but I'll probably rent it at least once just to see.

I haven't seen it but adults who worked in high school theater will be leaning toward liking it just because of the memories. Good Times
