Lord z couldnt have put it better. There is no god, there is only an equilibrium of this ecosystem that has evolved over all these millions, possibly billions of years. Humans are to the earth, as what cancer is to Humans. If you look at the earth as a whole. and than looked at one of the major cities, it would look like a growth or bacterial formation, plagueing this beautiful place. It is hard to think of oneself this way but as global warming starts taking its toll, we will all learn soon enough.

in a sense all the way around. Yes God's Will which we all gifted with, and call it free Will. But not to serve Will, rather learn to fulfill the prophecy, Making Will serving us. Otherwise what kind of Gift it would be if it possessed us?

We are parasites.

We serve the same purpose as the cockroach or bacteria. We destroy things that would otherwise harm the planet.

The problem is that there are too many of us and so we are destroying the planet. Odds are te planet will strike back, hurricanes, earthquakes, famine, and plagues.

Sounds pretty God like but consider it a balancing equation and rigt now the balance isn't good.

I think we're here to make the world a better place in our own small ways. Yes we're mortal and chances are everything we do will be forgotten at some point, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try to do it anyway. Because if we all gave up, the world would be even worse than it is now.

As a true religious believer (and it seems as if you are as well,) I feel it is our duty here on earth to tell others about Christ and to live our lives as an example to those who are not as fortunate to know about the wonderment of God as we do. Pray, and God will give you the answer.

The only conclusion I have ever been able to draw on the subject is that we are here to delay death. From birth we begin to die, as well as find ways to avoid what is ultimately the inevitable.

I am not saying this to drag people into a depression, it just seems to me that the sooner people face that fact the sooner they are able to enjoy life.

The answer is not always as important as how you are able to come up with it and what it is that you ar willing to do with this information once it is in your possession.

I believe that our purpose is what we make it. It seems to be human nature to seek out some kind of purpose in our life, things can seem kind of pointless otherwise. But instead of there being one ultimate goal/purpose for everyone, I think that it's up to us to figure out what that purpose is.

For me, I want to make the world a better place, not in any big way, but just through helping the people I come into contact with.

i think we are here on earth to exist...to live our lives and do what our destiny takes us to do. We are born, we live our lives, and we die. Along the way we seem to do extrordonary things on occasion.
