my dad is from ecuador, and my cousin from ecuador is living with me now. Anyone else rooting for ecuador in the world cup? I am. How can you go wrong with a country that hasn't been in the world cup for 30 years and has beaten Poland and Costa Rica?

They've improved a lot, but they just fell apart against Germany.
Also, your facts are wrong. Our first World Cup participation was in 2002.

My sister in law is from Ecuador so I am rooting for them. My 2 yr old niece has an authentic soccer uniform she puts on and cheers when they play. So cute! Go Ecuador!!

well colombia didnt go...(im colombian), so ecuador is my neighbor and besides ecuadors coach is colombia so yes im going for ecuador
and o yea ecuador went to the last world cup and didnt go to france 98...
