Ever since Elmo came to Sesame Street, other characters are getting phased out. Cookie Monster and the Count make guest appearances only, and even Grover is no longer "Super" but rather is doing this lame travelling bit.

Meanwhile, a whopping 20 minutes is dedicated to Elmo, who has a whole world, while Bert and Ernie live together in Section 8 housing.

So, is Elmo planning a takeover?

It sure sounds like it...I have been keeping up on the power struggles in Seaseme Street although it sounds like it may be coming to a head.
I'd watch my back if I were you, Elmo has eyes and ears everywhere! Maybe even on Yahoo! Answers!

Probably cause all I remember of Sesame Street is Elmo. Everyone else is just his b*tches. Jk.

I surely think he is! Personally, I would like to see more of Bert and Ernie, Cookie Monster, the Count.................
