Not bad at all where I work, but then again almost all our bosses are totally cool. But I've been places where people flat out tell their boss "F--k You", and nothing happens to them. Weird....

A nighttime supervisor at my old job was just the worst. I worked at a place with a lot of kids, and it was the worst most fowl place I've ever worked. Our night manager had this thing he would do whenever a boy turned 16, he would take them in the back have them show him his member and he took a picture of it. all the guys didnt mind this and they thought it was hilarious. I swear every damn minute in that store some guy was whippin it out just to be a jackass. It pissed a lot of people off, including myself, now that supervisor is gone, and that stuff doenst happen any more, but I quit anyways. That place was just wrong.

Wow. to that end, asking human beings to be assistance of the emotions of others sounds worse than asking human beings to take a 20% pay shrink. The outrage expressed through potential of those "experts" is indicative that faith, and human beings who follow it, is irrational, thoroughly biased and unreasonable: the answer for your question replaced into sitting there contained in the question for all time. If, inspite of the easy undeniable actuality that, the worker had a habit of posting contained in the e-publication a star of David at the same time as wishing human beings satisfied Rosh Hashanah, or a crescent moon at the same time as wishing others a non violent Ramadan, and continued to proper wide-spread holiday journeys and gala's of Hindus, Wicca, Shinto etc, then i'd say she favor no longer be "reminded" or admonished. I exceedingly doubt it rather is the case and that i imagine of your strikes and outrage were justified. those who flamed you're patently in favor of a crash direction on gaining understanding of to play large.

Never mind work ethic, some people at the office just lack any concept of personal hygiene. I used to work in an office where this slob who sat two rows over used to blow his nose into his hands and wipe it on his chair, between his legs. No joke, there was a big black spot between where his two legs would be on the chair.

He also often had dried out food stuck to his shirt and/or tie.

I had a coworker begging for assistance to do interviews. Why didn't she have time? Because she was "fooling around" with her "boyfriend" in her office during office hours. Why the office? So her husband and 2 kids wouldn't find out.

This same coworker would then lie to her husband about having to go out of town for the weekend for "meetings" and "trainings", and then spend the weekend with her boyfriend. She roped the rest of us into lying for her (what do you say when the husband calls and asks why she has to do so many trainings and I didn't??). She is still employed at that company - I quit.

Where to begin? Whew! I suppose as a customer myself, I think the most unprofessional act I have been witness to is cursing (which really isn't a big deal; but you shouldn't do it in front of customers) and not apologizing for it. Also talking to friends while you are supposed to be helping someone, or flat out ignoring a customer. Believe me, customer service is the most important aspect of any business, they are what pay your bills!

I once had this floor manager who would act as though she were every ones friend, but the minute anyone turned their back on her, she would run to the manager and pour out info on anyone she could---she even caused people to get fired by running her mouth-----on a number of occasions she would do this in front of our customers and one customer even complained to the head office--- eventually it tarnished the reputation of the business and caused crazy fights and gossip within the workers---- she has never been disciplined or fired for her chaos within the business------what ever happened to TEAM players?

A co-worker [male] was joking around and threw a glass of water on a fellow employee[female]. The girl had on a white shirt and I honestly think that I was more offended by the act than her. The amount of horse-play that goes on unpunished has become ridiculous...

At one of the first jobs I ever held the owner drank openly on the job (and in view of customers) and flirted with one of his younger female employees. He would privately state how much he wanted to "do her," and all while everyone knew his wife was pregnant with their first child. At that same time we knew from his wife, who stopped in regularly to check in on him, that they were having serious marital problems.
Not long after that the owner hired his ex-con brother, and then blamed all his other employees when money vanished from the cash register. Not exactly un-professional but this guy did so many dumb things it is just hard to separate his unprofessional acts from his lewd ones and all of the just-plain-stupid acts.

I saw co-workers :
Coming in late, walking out early, cursing constantly, telling stories about ******* women, smoking weed in the parking lot and the bathrooms.. hiding in the bathrooms for 30 minutes at at ime to avoid working.. Surfing online while working ..Talking on the cell phone to friends all day while working .. "chirping" co-workers from across the warehouse.. (god i hate those phones) and worse of all stealing video games from the job..

Terrible no?

But it was a great fun job..
