It acts like its doing the restoration and when Windows boots back up it says Incomplete, no matter how many dates I pick.

Registry Errors. maybe you are using minimum space adjust the slider of system restore to maximum. to adjust go to start, right click on my computer and click on properties and click system restore. and adjust the slider to maximum

Format the drive before you try a restore. Format using partition magic or even DOS on a floppy. You must format the harddrive with out the help of windows xp. Then throw the install cd inthere. If that doesnt work, you have the wrong install cd's

You might have chosen enough space for System Restore to use it up.

RE: domicile windows XP equipment fix Wont artwork. Says "fix Incomplete" Why? I actual have domicile windows xp equipment fix on my pc. i will successfuly create a fix component, yet whilst i circulate back to repair factors that I created interior the previous, I cant fix my equipment to that component. The message says "fix incomplete" after it reboots my pc and tries to repair it. WHy...

i think certain viruses can disable restoration...blood hound can place itself in the hardrive and when you recover it it just puts bloodhound back on...but you can try recovery

your registry is corrupt. you will have to reinstall xp with a repair install
