Professionalism, enthusiasm, and teamwork. They want someone that is never going to say "That's not my job".
The worst: unprofessional, lazy, negative, thinking they are the reason the company is successful and they are underpaid. I could go on, but choose not to.

Very loyal, showing up to work everyday and doing the best job that can be done. Trying their best to achieve better things and better quality.This is a good employee
bad qualities would include, Very lazy and unwilling to perform their job duties to the best they can.
bad qualities are a very sarcastic, devious, mouthy, drug taking, barhopping know it all sob that thinks they can come into a work place and start trouble with other employees and jeopardize their safety.
bad qualities are someone that will only show up to work when they feel like it and come in late most of the time.
other bad qualities are someone that looks busy when the boss is around to look good, but when the boss leaves they shove all the work upon you

To be a teachable prospect and not try to take over the place in one day.
To have a positive attitude and to see things that need to be done without asking.
To be part of the team and encourage other to do the same thing.
Be a leader
Be dependable and show up so the work load is not always unballanced.
Keep Smiling no matter what is going on elsewhere.

They need people with energy. Someone who will look them in the eye and shake their hands. They need someone who knows about the company they are working for. They also want someone who listens to them. The worst is a untidy dresser.

half of it is just that you are dependable and will show up and try your best everyday, dont have a history of missing work and using up all your sick days.
