Depends on how you look at it I guess, but Rasmussen daily is reporting:
20% - Strongly Approve
22% - Somewhat Approve
16% - Somewhat Disapprove
Which equals 58%, and
40% - Strongly Disapprove
This caught my attention because if I had been polled I, even as a loyal conservative Republican, would have answered "Somewhat Disapprove" even though my feelings on the Bush Presidency won't change my vote from Republican in the next election. Things like allowing Congress to overspend, the Dubai Ports deal, border security, etc, would make me say "Somewhat Disapprove".
If you consider the possibility that conservatives are honest and would have answered as I did, instead of being blindly loyal to idiots like Nancy Pelosi, it's just possible that the recent news reports are correct and that Republicans will actually pick up more seats in November.
Crazy world.
