its like really irritated and sore...as if someone ran long fingernails down the inside. it hurts to swallow. it feels like allergies. however my brother had a sore throat and now has a virus. my sore throat is different and my mom looked at it with a flashlight and said it was healthy.
im desperate. whats something i can use to make it feel better. thanks a lot!

ps...im fourteen. i don't drive. my mom can look at a throat and tell if its strep and she just took my bro to the doctor two days ago, and doesn't want to go again since she can't see anything in my throat. and she just went shopping for my brother so the store won't help either. i have tea...will that help?

Antibiotics. Go to the doctor and get a Z-pack (Zithromax). In the meantime, try Sucrets.

You're goanna have to go to the doctor, you may have strep throat or tonsilitis. I've had tonsilitis, and it sounds about the same. Trust me, go to the doctor, they'll give you meds, and you'll be happy in 2 days.

Have someone take you to the health department or to see a doctor. It could need treatment. You may even be tested for an s.t.d.
