Every manufacturer has a complete racquet line, so there is a racquet for you from each line. If you go to www.NothingButTennis.com, on their strings and racquets page scroll down and you will find racquet charts with all the specs on recent frames and you can compare the specifications. You can determine from demos what spec values appeal to you. Some specs of interest are: swingweight, power level, length, static weight, string pattern, head size, and stiffness.

It depends how good you are. I will disagree with the other comment, for a beginner I would go with the big racket head size, and probably a Head racket. They are better suited. With babolat and Wilson it's pretty easy. Wilson is built more for all around games, more suited for those with flatter shots and tend to be heavier than babolat. Babolat though is for e more modern player, offering raga style spin rackets, that aren't too heavy and allow you to camp the baseline with topspin, which is what I like to do. Wilson has also been known to cause some arm injuries, due to it's weight. Daniel

HEAD has some decent racquets. But don't forget Yonex. They have the best/most expensive racquet among all
