Show me one quote in which any member of the Bush administration said that Iraq was responsible for 9/11.
Sounds to me like YOU'RE the victim of propaganda by thinking that the administration tried to tell the American people that Iraq was responsible for 9/11. That never happened.
Within 24-48 hours, they knew (and announced) who the hijackers were... how could they then say that Iraq had something to do with 9/11 specifically?
There were a number of reasons given for taking Saddam out. But being responsible for 9/11 was not one of them. And the American people are not that stupid. I've never known anyone who thought that Saddam was responsible for 9/11, yet the mainstream liberal press keeps telling us that 'most' Americans believed that Saddam was responsible. That's pure Barbara Streisand.

Speaking of propaganda, why do you think it's a fact that there was no tie between the government of Iraq and al-Qaeda? Are you just assuming that? It may take another couple years for everything to surface, but the small stuff that has surfaced so far indicates there was a link. Iraq was training and funding terrorists, and likely financing them. Iraq even had a full plane fuselage for training at one of their terrorist camps. I'm not saying anything is absolute (yet), but I think that goes both ways.
And, a final note, there is nothing more steeped in propaganda than the American mainstream media.

It only affects those who listen to the tube for all their information, and they are deeply infected with it. For those of us who read alternative media sources and newspapers from different parts of the world. We know how much propaganda is spewed out by local t.v. stations reporting world news. The difference is like night and day. I once told someone I worked with about Halliburtion Dick Cheney's old company he was C.E.O. of and how they were involved in a scandal by overcharging the military. It was 6 months later she was saying she heard it on the news. The shape of the 4th estate of this country is pitiful.

Every single day, you cannot turn your head in this country without seeing some form of advertising.
People get rich in this country when Americans choose to throw millions of dollars at people.
Movie Stars
Rock Stars
Pharmaceuticals
Oil producing countries
Politicians
and Wal-Mart all have one thing in common;
They all want your money.
Think about where your throw your money.

Nice try, comrade. If I want propaganda, I need only head on down to the video store and rent a Michael Moore crockumentary. You don't think I'd actually BUY that crap, do you?

Oh yeah, man. It affects me deeply. I find myself getting up in the middle of the night and sleepwalking to Wal-Mart, Starbucks, McDonald's, etc. Sometimes I dream that my kids will grow up to be oil company executives.

yes. just look at holidays, they have all been catered to capitalistic propaganda. Just look at the theme for Christmas "Uncle Sam wants you to spend a lot of money to prove you love your family."

If you have ever purchased a product advertised or even just WANTED that product, then you have been affected. If you wear, eat, drive or live with ANYTHING advertised, then you have been affected.
