Do you mean currently, overall or in their franchise history?
Franchise offensive players would probably be The King Fish (Tim Salmon) or Garret Anderson. Both are at the top in the following categories RBI, homerun and hits in franchise history. They both came up through the organization and have never played for any other team.
Overall, Vlad Guerrero is one of the best players on the team. He didn't win the 2004 AL MVP for nothing.
Currently, Orlando Cabrera is the best this season. He's been the most clutch hitter with runners in scoring position with 2 outs.

to the above responder....the kid saw the angels that helped the Angels play....or maybe you were thinking of Rookie of the Year where the kid broke his arm and it healed to the point where he was throwing massive heat, then pitching for the Cubs.....but to the question at hand....Orlando has reached base in 50-51 straight games.....Vlad's on a 0-16 run. you can't put many runs on the board on a sacrifice fly every 4 at bats.

Didn't a kid in a Disney movie play for the Angels? Or did he just manage them?
If he played, my vote is for him, whatever his name is.
