Tivo? Probably not, but there are alternative DVRs out there. It depends on where you are located and what you buy. In the UK and Germany, for example, the EPG (Electronic Programme Guide) is transmitted alongside the channel - so I get this for free.

If you don't have such a service where you're based, you could consider getting a TV card for your computer. I've done this, and I use a program called XMLTV to download the TV guide each week.
