Mmm, Taco Bell fills me up for a good price. I would say tell whoever you want that you work at Taco Bell. Be the best Taco Bell employee you can be and help make your company strong. If anybody gives you any guff about that, tell them they are un-American, haha.

If you are applying for a job in a completely different area of the work force, I would recommend not putting it on your resume, though. Employers generally only care about related work experience and look through tons of extraneous information on many different resumes.

That is the only instance where I can think of that it would be "lame" to say you work at Taco Bell.

If you ever go to a human resource person they will look at you favorably if you proudly say that you worked at Taco Bell.

It is all about attitude. When you move up in your career, you must make your work experience at Taco Bell sound like something you are proud of.

From the way you phrased your question, you seem to be ashamed about working for Taco Bell. That is a bad attitude and it will hold you back from better things. So show some more enthusiasm and soon you'll have a better career to look forward to.

Naw, the good part about the fact that you worked at Taco Bell is the fact that you had a job as the others have said.

My granddaughter's first place of employment was Taco Bell. We used to go by and tease her all the time.

She learned some valuable lessons by working there as I am sure you are also, like being on time for your shift, trying to move into a leadership position.

The most important thing is the feeling you got when you got your first check and what you spent it on.

Enjoy your learning experience, it will stick with you and make you a better employer in the future. It might even lead you to owning one in the future.

I hope this has been of some use to you, good luck.

"FIGHT ON"

It certainly isn't lame! I happen to enjoy Taco Bell!!! If it weren't for people like you, I would not have a pleasant experience when I go to Taco bell.

True, a stereotype is attached to people who work at fast food restaurants, whatever the chain may be. However, it should not be important what others think of you, but what you think of yourself. If you don't feel like you can be proud of working at Taco Bell, then you shouldn't work there. There is no shame in working, no matter what the company. However, if you feel embarassed, then maybe it isn't the place for you.

Heck no...............
Least you are earning an honest living. You are willing to work. It does not matter if it is at taco bell or flipping burgers at mcdonalds. There are so many americans that do not want to work because they feel that flipping burgers are degrading. Well it is not. Least it is a job, and i would feel good you are at least working, working at taco bell does not mean you are going to make a career out of it, you are trying to support yourself until you can do better.

No, not at all.
Why should it be?
You have a job, you're working, you're contributing to society and you're making me great bean burritos, mexican pizzas, and hard shelled tacos.
Keep up the good work. It is an honest job and you should be proud to be doing it. YOu are paying taxes, supporting yourself and keeping the economy going.
Proudly tell everyone that you are a taco bell employee and to make a run for the border! Say hi to that little taco doggie for me!

No. It is lame not to work at all. Any honest job is a very good thing. You are getting experience that will help you get other jobs in the future.

No, as long as you have a job and you're making money it shouldn't matter. As long as its a legit job. And Taco Bell qualifies as legit.
