No. A Corvette is a sweet car, no doubt about that, but it's not "exotic." It's domestic.

By exotic, do you mean hi tech or import car? i think you are referring to hi tech. Depending on the year corvette you are speaking about makes a big difference. The newer Corvettes that boast more than 500HP are extremely exoctic as compared to new technology in other cars. Dollar for dollar you still cant beat the American Corvette. It will keep up with and beat the likes of Lambos and other highly touted cars today.
Looking back at the older Corvettes brings me back to the good old american muscle car. Simple and easy to repair. Just another domestic car that was very light and produced a modest 300- 400 HP clean and simple.

The Corvette is a DOMESTIC automobile...and a WORLD BEATER dollar for dollar.
Exotic = SMALL production numbers a VECTOR is an AMERICAN EXOTIC not MASS produced

If you are talking to a worldwide group yes. To Americans no. Even though it is assembled in the USA the parts are 76% made in Mexico, 8% Japan, and only 16% made in America. At least a 2005 vette

Its the best bang for your buck! I have a 99 hardtop, first year the hardtop came back...precursor for the Z06. Enjoy it and it's plenty fast! I have 5 speed and get 29mpg on the highway and am turning 1600 rpms at 80mph....is that exotic enough?

No. Corvettes are chevy's- they are made in america I belive. Exotic; no. Hot; YES!

Probably not, I think the term "exotic" refers to the way they are built and the way they are produced. The fewer there are or if they are custom built they are considered exotic.
