Anywhere can have calm air. Most places have wind, including your house. Wind is caused by an area of air in high pressure region. This air in the high pressure moves to the air with low pressure, creating wind. Also, wind on the ocean, fields, flat lands have more wind, because nothing is stopping or slowing down the wind.
Where you can find areas with little or no wind is hard. Where the lowest point in low pressure doesn't usually have wind. For example, the eye of a hurricane.
Also, forests, mountain forests, and the down slope of a hill might not have very much wind.

Near the equator, there are calm winds known to mariners(seafold) as the doldrums. Around 30° N. and S., the poleward flowing air begins to descend toward the surface in subtropical high-pressure belts. The sinking air is relatively dry because its moisture has already been released near the Equator above the tropical rain forests. Near the center of this high-pressure zone of descending air, called the "Horse Latitudes," the winds at the surface are weak and variable. The name for this area is believed to have been given by colonial sailors, who, becalmed sometimes at these latitudes while crossing the oceans with horses as cargo, were forced to throw a few horses overboard to conserve water.

Usually bluffs overlooking the ocean. You might also want to try asateague national park or the peak of Mount Washington in New Hampshire. These places never get wind mostly due to the fact that the jet streams are so far away that wind is no longer a factor to contend with.

Near the equator. It is a region called the doldrums, literally meaning "stagnation or listlessness". The area was given this name by 16th century English merchant sailors, who found themselves trapped by lack of a "trade" wind to carry them onward to the next port of call.
