there are different websites like myspacecodes.com and sometimes different people have a link you can follow to get backgrounds... it will say " i got my myspace code for backgrounds from ---- " and you can just click it, paste the code in your profile and that's it

You have to get a code for a layout. They have those on myspace, whateverlife, sparkletag and pimpmyspace. After you pick out the layout you want, highlight the code. Then click on edit at very top of page. Click copy. Then go to your options on myspace and go to about me. At the end of that section click on paste. Then save at the bottom of page. That should do it. Try it. I always forget about how to do the music. I'd have to go thru it again before I could tell you.

Look at other people's pages and most will have a link telling you where they got their backgrounds. As for adding a song. Go to I believe the music tab on the main page, and look up the artist of the song you want to put on there. Most will have a box on the right side of their main homepage where you can add the song to your myspace page.

Do an internet search for myspace backgrounds. Once you find them there are certain ones that will give you free codes. Copy and paste the code into your about me section on myspace..under the edit profile. Be sure to save after you do so.

HTML is a code format. You have to play around with different editors. Tom has one that is decent, but if you search for myspace layouts, you can find some interesting ones. Look me up at myspace.com/rde and I may be more help on there.
