Ok, first of all, don't think that the entire U.S. thinks that they/we are better than everyone. That is basically the elitists (REPUBLICANS). Now, about "being involved". I'm guessing you mean the war in Iraq, which I agree was not a good idea. However, we do not only have the opprotunity, but the responsibility to work in foreign affairs. Now, moving on to football/futbol/soccer; the U.S. has not ever been good, as this is not a sport that has been huge in the U.S. for a long time. Another example lies in baseball: it took Japan a long time before they could even have a competition with the U.S. in baseball, because they were not used to the game. This is the way it is in the U.S. with soccer/football/futbol. Also, the World Cup, as hyped us as it is, is still a sporting event. Yes, I understand this sport is important in the world, but there are more important things than wanting to win a trophy. Now, if you really think that Ghana has a chance of winning, I think you might want to think about it again. Yes, there was an upset against the Czechs, but the Czechs also upset the U.S. That one game could be Ghana's only win. Even if they advance, they will have to play Brazil, a team that there is no way Ghana will beat (especially if Renaldo is playing well). One last thing: if you want to try to insult the United States of America, please at least spell words correctly, use proper punctuation, and please use correct capitalization.
One last addition: I must say that the answer posted by "Renn" seemed a bit hypocritical. She is complaining about the U.S. team "trash-talking", and how bad it is, while she herself is doing the same thing. I do not think that is a good way to represent yourself.

lol Instigator! If you wanted to leave it at that you wouldn't have posted this question!! lmao at you!
Not everyone in the U.S. thinks they're better than everyone else! Do you think you know me? Do you think you know the heart and mind of every resident of the United States?
I would never belittle the people of your Country! I hope that in the future you will be more open minded about all the people on this earth! We all have feelings (unless of course you're a psychopath or something)!

Many people(including myself you're right is not for GHANA ) but are voting for them due to the fact majority of AMERICANS are so full of themselves . You can just read some of the answers in these forums and it proves that point without even saying a word more

I'll be so happy...I'll probably be dancing with you.
That would be so wonderful especially since that USA team went into the tournament trash-talking some of the other teams.
It'll be great to see them taken down a peg or 5.

Ghanna is not good enough. They're fast but they don't have a good playing scheme. The U.S. is a very orderly team and they will win the game.

Very happy and at least they will stop talking how their team is one of the best in the World and to the guy who said soccer will be not popular in US it will be because of illegal immigrants.

It would be cool only because Czech or Italy would not go through. But, I'd like the USA to go through because, well, I'm American.
