I think the word pornographic is not the correct word. Ballet can be highly suggestive, very sensuous, and has, at times, been booed off the stage because of unexpected erotic moves. Modern ballet can be very graphic, but still, pornographic is not the word...pornography has, by definition, no redeeming graces other than to arouse the viewer...ballet is an art form and can be very erotic.

No, some scenes are passionate. Tights are revealing. Never thought of it as pornographic.

I know almost nothing about ballet but I have huge doubts it was intended for pornography.
