GROUP STAGES: Two yellow cards (or a red) invoke a one match ban.

AFTER GROUP STAGES: All cards are erased, but any bans incurred are enforced for the next round

KNOCK-OUT STAGES: Two yellow cards (or a red) invoke a one match ban.

Easy.

After the group matches, all yellow cards are consigned to history, however if a player recieves two yellow cards from now on they are unable to take any further part in the World Cup.
