Being a Sox fan I have to say Pedro staying on the mound. Your worst play, worst moment, or worst loss? It can be anything that happened during a game. I know it may hurt lol but we all have one.

1994 strike that wiped out 920 and the World Series. We're just now starting to climb out of that black hole.

Mike Sciocia of the Dodgers taking Doc Gooden downtown in the top of the 9th inning to tie up Game 4 of the '88 NLCS. The Mets were up 4-2 going into the 9th and were poised to take a 3-1 lead in the series. The Dodgers eventually won 5-4 in 12 innings and would win series in seven. That loss set in motion a Met tailspin that they really didn't come out of until '97.

having the
"pine tar" game be replayed/ having the umpires decision changed/ over ruled...... this was the game where george brett's home run was called back and he called out because he had too much pine tar on his bat ...[ wasn't billy Martin just the shrewdest manager???].... the rule clearly states that any substance that effects the bat IN THE UMPIRES OPINION is illegal.... this makes it a "JUDGMENT CALL" and can NOT be overturned even IF the umpire was wrong! i can't believe the umpire union allowed this to happen. anyway brett a good man and GREAT player really over reacted and got his way.... pretty shrewd guy himself ....lol.
