What are peoples problems with sony nw-a1000 hardware?

I can't say I've had any problems apart from it gets dirty easy! It did crash a couple of times after I first got it, but updating the firmware solved that. When playing MP3's I've noticed slight glitches in the sound every now and then, but they're not really noticeable unless your listening out for them. My minidisc remote works with it as well, so it's all good!
