What is your favorite pass family vacation?

They are all great answers so far.
My favorite was when we were poor and camp in our own back yard for the whole week and had hotdog and marshmellows. Spending time with family.

It was when I was about 13. We just got in the car and drove. (we often did that in the summer) One time, my dad was tired and asked mom to drive. The rest of us fell asleep. It was somewhere in New York. We woke up because it was bright out and thought it was morning. Nope. We were in a parking garage with lots of lights. Mom swears to this day that it was "where the highway ended." I woke up to her saying "wow, you should see the building we're under."

Going to Yellowstone and Glacier National parks. Yellowstone wasn't the first NP for no reason it has everything that any other national park has plus more. Glacier has the most beautiful lakes and you are guaranteed to see bears and elk. Perfect mountains and Glaciers untouched by man.

Gatlinburg, TN. My kids just love to go to Dollywood and there are all sorts of other places to play. We camp, so it's saving us money on a hotel although many hotels are very reasonable and that leaves us more money to play with. Best wishes

:( Our fam is poor & can't afford to travel :( Where is yours ? I've never been out of the prov. The furthest out of the prov that I've been was 5 min NEAR the border... (N)

Several years ago we took our children to Grand Canyon National Park. Very educational and fun too!

I would have to say Gulf Shores AL... I love the ocean. But we all enjoyed the Smokey Mt's and Mammoth Cave..
