Which do you prefer? I was looking at a messenger bag yesterday that I really liked, but what is your experience with them? Are they too large and builky or do they work as well as a purse with more room? And is it more accessible or a hasslte.

messenger bag cuz theres more room, and they arent falling off ur shoulder every 5 minutes. i use them as purses cuz purses are really annoying right now...for me ne ways. buy it, leave the tags on, try it for a few days, see if u like it, if u dont return it.

I like a purse better.
I guess a messenger bag is practical if you need to carry that much stuff. I have never needed more than a medium sized hobo bag. Even that is rare.
I find the larger my purse the more I can carry, the more I will carry. I like to clean out my purse once a week or so. Get rid of the 427 pens that don't write and the make-up from a year ago that you never use. Then hopefully you wont need such a big bag.

I go for the middle and get an oversized purse. They are really in this year and fun! I use mine for my school books, or just to go shopping. Not quite a messenger bag...but not quite a purse. It's the happy medium! :)

p.s plus... an oversized purse is MUCH more feminine then a messenger bag.

If your a on the go girl then you should hav e amessenget bag because they are easier to carry,can hold more and are easy to find.If you shop alot and dont really have much to carry then a purse is for you.I personally like a purse more because I have little to carry and its lightweight and stylish but a messanger bag is to!

messenger bag they look cooler.There better then a purse I feel more comfortable wearing a messenger bag cuz they stay put and I have space for stuff like money,make up,pads,cd's,discman ect.ect.

I think that it works just as well as a purse. And then you can carry more in it! :)

MY HUSBAND JUST BOUGH ME A CAMOFLAGE PURSE AT WALMART FOR MY BIRTHDAY AND I LOVE IT. IT IS LIGHT WEIGHT AND HAVE MANY ZIPPERS, AND POCKETS AND IS LIGHT WEIGHT.
