That's really interesting. I bet she could. The mind is SO powerful, it's amazing what it can do in the field of health. If a woman stresses over it enough and worries about it enough, I believe she could abort the baby, depending how far along she was. And Hey Gump, have you seriously never heard of women stressing so much they miscarry their child? It can be done.

Sounds like you want to.

If this was possible I would have done it on my first. I was 17 and had dreams where I dreamt I had an abortion and was so happy. I quit school and I had straight A's. I cried and did NOT want the baby. Another girl I knew had an abortion I was so jealous of her that she got her freedom and I had to go through that awful time when I should have been at proms and graduating. We forced ourselves to get married to do the right thing...that was stupid too. I did not want this baby...but the joke was on me.
IF THAT day I would have aborted that child I would have missed the best thing that ever happened to me in my life. He was the absolute best thing that I ever did in my life. During my divorce he was there. When he graduated I was so proud. Right now he is a successful professional who's beautiful wife is expecting my first grandson. I praise God that I had that child. Everything else crumpled in my life, my marriage, my job, my house, my cadilac is gone now...but my beautiful child is there for me.

I don't think a person could abort a child like that but could possibly let something happen to it and not care. Like subconciously want her fetus gone therefore when harm does come she is not worried about anything harming her baby.

NO, your mind didn't have enough sinse to keep you from getting pregnant when you didn't want to so why the heck would you think it could abort it. The sad thing here is that I have lost several babies to miscarriages and 1 stillborn and I would give anything to have them and there are people like you who think that pregnacy is a game life is a game, I just don't understand, maybe next time you can"will" your leggs shut!

To start off with, I was in that situation at one time. And from experiance, no that does not work. I tried like the dikkins to force my mind to miscarry. It is just not possible. Now stress causes a miscarriage and drugs, etc. But I would not recommend it. It's harder on you than the baby. And in the end, having the baby is well worth it. You may not know it now, but it is.

Please talk to someone about your pregnancy possibility.Family, friend, pastor, teacher, school nurse,a favorite teacher or neighbor, anyone that you can trust to have your best interests served. You sound young and scared. Don't do anything that could hurt you or your chances of ever having children. You could get an infection if there is an abortion or miscarriage and I truly believe that your thoughts make it an abortion. Can you live with that? You made a mistake but don't make another one by making a life decision on fear only.If I can help you , contact me here.

Perhaps subconsiously, but i know her body can abort the mission if the father and the mother have two different blood types and there is a tear in the placenta the womans blood can attack the baby and kill it. I have a rare blood type and the odds of me finding a man with my blood type and getting pregnant by him is 1/16. But if there is a tear, my blood will recognize the babies blood as an enemy, and my immune system will attack it.

There is always a mind/body connection, but if what you are suggesting is true, then babies wouldn't be born to most teenage mothers, crack addicts, and desperately poor people with more than six kids.

I think, in the scenario you mention, you would just create a very nervous child who was uncertain of both love and his or her right to exist.

I doubt it. Otherwise there would be a lot less people in the world today as most pregnancies are unplanned
In some coutures where women are treated as 2nd class citizens, some research has shown that infant girls can die through lack of love because they are not wanted by their wanted.
