I like green. Did you know there is a phenomenon called the Gree Ray? I saw sunrise over the mediterranean one winter and it was the most amazing scarlet colour, with the sun a golden disk!

I enjoy both-usually when the sun is rising, I'm on my jog. But sunsets are great too-I like to watch them w/ my Boytoy on the deck with a beer!

just as th sun goes beyond the horizon...

there is a chaotic clash of oranges, reds, violets,the shadows disappear into dark greys...

the now darken ambers and blues!

I think it's that orangey-red at the bottom of the sunset. It always reminds me of being a kid in Southern California.
