Don't worry, I had the same problem the first time I used a tampon... You can use a mirror to look down there; then push a little, like if you are going to poo, and the "hole" that opens and close that's were you have to put the tampon... it's kind of the middle one, the back one, or last one is where we really poo! hehe... also don't forget to read the instructions of the tampons so you can insert it correctly... It would be a good idea to ask your mother or a friend that already uses tampon, although I know it's kind of embarrasing to ask some things to our mothers, but that's how a friend explained me, and it worked! just be careful to put it correctly, and you won't feel anything! and also read the instructions of when you have to change it, etc. Good Luck! :D

One of your other questions said you just got your period. The proper place is down there and you just kind of...er...sense the right place. Grab a mirror if you really can't figure it out, totally normal even if an embarrassing concept.

Tampons are not easy things to figure out right away and will probably take some trying on different days until you get it. Don't ever try to practice off your period and never use an absorbency higher then you need since it could potentially harm you.

One thing, tampons are more often used by people who have had their periods for a while and it may be better to wait until you have had it for a bit and it has had time to adjust and get regular. Even then tampons can still leak if your period is heavy enough. So for now this summer, until you might get it figured out, you will have the thrill of staying out of the pool and whatnot for a week here and there. Welcome to womanhood, don't ya love it? (Blah)

Start here:
( http://www.factmonster.com/ipka/A0906923.html ) and then read the box insert with the tampons. Once you have figured it out and start using them you will really love the freedom they can provide.
Have a dear frind or your mother help you. They can tell you what to do while your in the privacy of your bathroom trying them.
Good Luck honey.

Talk to your mom or an aunt.

You could also purchase some tampons there are directions inside.

Find it with your finger first...might have to be forceful. Start where you pee, and go down from there. It should be just an inch or two below that.

You want to make sure you are not trying to insert it in a downward direction - it is more tilted up. Otherwise, just make sure you are trying to insert it into the vagina and not the urethra.

ask your Mom, or go get a mirror. Hw old are you? Not being rude, but if you are old enough to have a period, you should know.

If you cant ask Mom, ask a girl old enough to know. Or go to WEB MD
