My mom thinks I should try and get used to wearing them. It's hard for me to ge used to wearing them. Someone suggested I should try wearing stockings and a garter belt. Are they easier to wear than pantyhose? Do kids my age wear them?

I hate pantyhose with a passion and I am a grown woman! I absolutely refuse to be that uncomfortable for no reason. I wear thigh highs. They have the same effect as pantyhose but without all that uncomfortable top part. You don't have to pull them on and off every time you go to the bathroom and they won't hold as much heat when you dance. Ask your mom to get you thigh high pantyhose, nobody will know the difference except you.

I agree with starchild. The thigh high is even more comfortable than pantyhose and a garter belt. A good thigh high will have elastic in the top so it won't slide down and you won't even have to wear a garter belt. Garter belts are mostly just for looks now anyway, most thigh highs can stay up without attaching them to a belt. The thigh high alone, no garter belt, is the most comfortable.
And I have to ask, what is intersex?

Does intersex mean you are transsexual? Is that what Stacy/Diane means male/female names?
Anyway I am seventeen and a high school student with nearly full tie job after school. I started wearing a garter belt at my first prom, and never wore pantyhose again.
I love the feeling of stockings and a garter belt when I walk around. they feel sooo sexy, and look just as sexy. I go to school with them on in the morning, and sometimes I work till 8 or 9 at night and they are still on and feeling very comfortable. I am tall and thin, so that may help.

I have been wearing stockings since I was 15 and love them. I am 21 now and that's all I wear to work is stockings and a garter belt. They are so sexy and comfortable, I don't know how any one can wear pantyhose after wearing stockings.

l am 16 and have been wearing stockings and a garter belt since my freshman year. I hate pantyhose so I borrowed them from my sister when I had to dress up.
Now I have my own and that's all I wear. I have an office job after school where I have to dress up and I wear them everyday, Nobody in our school wears pantyhose, they all wear thi highs, or stockings and a garter like me. Pantyhose are for older ladies, who need the support, and don't mind wearing two pair of panties instead of a thong.

i wear them and i was 15 a couple months ago. I dont like them tho u should wear stocking and a garter belt cuz the pantyhose if u mess around and move too much will start sliding down and its really annoying or just wear knee highs if what ever ur wearing goes below ur knees.

most 15 year olds don't wear stockings, but in your case I think that they might be more comfortable if you don't like wearing the pantyhose, plus you can get ones that hold themselves up, you don't even need a garter belt if thats too fussy for you.
and at the end of the day no one should be able to see the difference unless you run around in your underwear (which I'm sure you don't ) so just go with what you want to wear
you couls even wear a pants suit to the wedding, thats what I ususaly wear, and you don't need panty hose or stockings for a pants suit :)

Go ahead and wear the garter belt thing. Pantyhose are annoying as hell!
Not many kids our age use them but who cares. Nobody will really see the garter belt thing.

Its more formal to keep your legs covered with something. Pantyhose are more appropriate for a 15 yo then stockings and a garterbelt.
However these days most women dont wear pantyose or stockings unless they need to be conservative and formal. Even at Black-tie events women dont' wear anything to cover their legs.

If you go to an up scale type store you can get stockings with built in elastic to hold them on to the leg. The middle type stores carry them, but the stockings are not a good quality. They are very comfortable, and yes younger people do wear them/ especially if you don't want the panty waist line to show. they are invisible if they are on your legs. have a good time at the wedding.
