Drink lots of sterilized water. I suggest to see your doctor, if you have an upset stomach try gavisiton, there is another one that contains magnesuim which is great for sealing the lining of the stomach when acids and bacteria attacks. I would keep away from dairy products to avoid more diarhea, some foods contain laxatives that could be triggering the problem. However doc knows best, make an appointment asap.

See a doctor with a sample (bleugh) and check everything is okay. diarrhoea can be a symptom of lots of things and it is better to be safe than sorry! And you must be worried else you would not have posted the question!

I would not put it off by trying other things unless the doctor cannot help you - and you could make things worse. After all, you could have an allergy to something and what you take could be the allergy. You could also have something like Crohn's disease (an acquaintance has it and this was the first symptom).

If you are like me, you will procrastinate, trying other things before you go to the doctor. By that time, it could be much worse.

SO GO SEE A DOCTOR!!!!!

I would reccommend seeing a doctor, as long term diarhea can cause severe dehydration. You can supliment with a powder called "dioralite" (not sure of spelling) which helps rehydrate and energise. If you haven't tried Immodium, do so, it works wonders at stopping the runs, but I still think you should investigate the cause by speaking to a doc.

I hope that you are drinking a lot of water and fluids, as you are in danger of dehyrdation. If you are feeling really unwell and you've noticed a change in skin tone, go to the ER. Otherwise, make a regular doctor's appointment ASAP. I wouldn't take Immodium until you see a doctor.

If it's lasted for 7 days then you need to be taking hydration powders as your body will be low on salts and other minerals.

I expect you have either a nasty stomach bug or are allergic to something you're eating or drinking. Allergic reactions can start out of nowhere and be things you've eaten all your life.

Try staying clear of dairy products and yes that includes milk in your cuppa and fruit juice, see if that helps.

Having diarrhea for such a long period of time can be a sign of a much more serious problem or you may be dehydrated try to rehydrate using 1 part Gatorade or similar to 2 parts water as it will help to replace your electrolytes and salts in your body if it continues i strongly suggest that you contact your doctor

Dear Sandaz

In answer to your medical question, although ` Imodium ' may be of some benefit to you under modern medication's, the sure cure for you diarhea is that of ` Kaolin & Morphine ' taken at
2 x 5mls spoons under one doseage measure and medication.

` Kaolin & Morphine ' can be obtained from your local pharmacy/drug's store.

Only 2 x 5mls of Kaolin & Morphine should be taken and no more than this drug amount and this one doseage should cure your diarhea.

I therefore trust that this answer's your medical question.

If that keeps up you will feel unwell soon, drink Gatorade and take vitamins because you will get dehydrated and your electrolytes will be off balanced and you will get sick and have to be admitted to a hospital to get an IV .

I have recently become lactose intolerant. And I noticed that I was having the same symptoms that your'e describing. I couldn't figure out for the life of me what was going on. I didn't feel ill. When I realized it only happend after I ate dairy products. I figured out that I had become lactose intolerant.
