The above squad can be retained for the tests also.

It is unfair deal for Ganguly,Lakshman & Kumble.They should not have been dropped for the one-day squad in the recent past.Ganguly is a world class player & has a enviable record in the one-dayer,he is only next to Sachin considering the no of centuries in the one dayers.Laksman's performance was great in the one dayers.The selectors should feel ashamed to drop the player like Kumble[hope everyone know the reason].I also feel bad for Zaheer Khan who has lost his place in both the forms of the game.He was a wonderful strike bowler with Pathan,has played an excellent role in the Ranji matches in India in the recent past & is playing very well for the English county Worcestershire.I want Agarkar & Powar to be not just removed but kicked out of the Indian squad & Zaheer & Kumble can take their places.The above squad should be retained for all the matches[away & home] till the players retire.
By considering all these,I feel very bad for the selectors who have & will be selecting the Indian team.
