i read in a magazine that you shouldnt...like try n make it different but then my one friend who takes cosmetology said u should..so im confused

if you are wearing alot of the same color already, say alot of blue or pink or something than no i would not wear the same color, if yoiu are not wearing alot of the same color and you want to bring out that color more than sure! just dont over do it is the key, and you can incorperate other colors on your eyes with the color you chose to make it more alive looking, good luck!

Wear whatever you want, some people just have the most boring eye make up ever. Natural colors look good, but have some fun with make up- there is so much great make up and great colors out there- and if you know how to put them on, you won't look like a clown. Don't be afraid to experiment, its makeup, if you mess up or don't like it, you can take it off! Do what you like. I am a beauty consultant in a make up store and I get more compliments when I do more bold colors then if I just wear neutrals. Most people are just too afraid to try anything different. Try eyeshadows by MAC, Bare Escentials, Too Faced, Smashbox, and Urban Decay. You won't be disappointed!

I don't really care for matching eyeshadow to your clothes. It's sometimes okay, if you are maybe wearing something pink, and you dust a list pink right under your eyebrow. Just be sure not to put too much. You want it to pretty, but not for it to be so LOUD it's the only thing people see. As far as wearing a different eyeshadow everytime you wear a different shirt, stay away from it! Find colors that go well with your skin tone, and stick with them most of the time. If you want to change it up sometimes, it's fine! But it's not neccessary (or pretty!) to make your face match your shirt!!

If I wear a black shrt, I wear a thin line of teal blue above and below my eyelashes. It will make your eyes stand out. I think it looks silly when your eyes match your shirt. Play with colors.. just dont use red. If you wear white.. try a pink eyeshadow.. or a green color above your eyelash line. It looks very nice. Dont be bland thats the key.. dont over do it either. Do what looks good with out looking like a clown.. just because you are wearing a brown shirt doesnt mean you have to wear brown eyeshadow.. play with a gold color. And always use a shiny lipgloss... lips will look plump and natural.

No! You should select a shade that brings out the natural color of your eyes. Your goal is to make your eye color "pop" or stand out, not compete with or dimish your natural color in any way. Don't match your eye makeup to your clothing. Makeup is an accessory to you, not to your clothing. Matching your makeup to your clothes can sometimes wash you out and may not always flatter your best features. Choose what looks best on you. Also, don't match your eye color to your eye shadow, either...eg. if you have blue eyes, don't wear blue shadow, etc.

well, i agree that do whatever that looks good on u. it also depends cause u don't have to nessecary have to match it with ur clothes other colors could also match up with another colors. I mean pink and black looks good. For me i don't wear make up but some of my friends reallly use make up a lot and i mean a lot but don't take it personally but make up dose hurt ur skin and i'm just tryin to say that in my opinio i don't think that peole shoudl wear make up cause it damages their skin but other peole don't really care its ur opinion

Not necessarily. It depends on what colors you are using. For example, black or very dark gray shadows will go with all colors in clothes. In re to Green, if you have green eyes, you can wear green shadows without matching the with the color of your clothes. However, if your eyes are brown, green will go only when you have green clothes on.

no, only use colors that go well with your feaures, like the color of your eyes...if you match your eyeshadow to your clothes you will look like an old lady with blue eyeshadow. You can do it when you go out and stuff like that, but don't over do it, it takes away from your beauty, it can overdo it.

yeah, you could match your eyeshadow with your clothes if you want to look like a hooker!! go with some thing natural like brown, or a very light pink. something that looks good with the color of your eyes and your skin color.

depends you dont want to kill an ofit by wearing to much of one color but you can mix a purpal shirt with purpal eyeshadow also for example a turquise shirt with purpal eyeshadow as long as they work well together

No, you aren't supposed to. Makeup wasn't invented to match your clothes or accessories, it was made to enhance your natural beauty and cover up minor skin flaws. Less is more. You are supposed to make it match your natural skin tone.
